April’s last day

Exactly a year ago, 30 May 2024, was our 1st trip to perform umrah with our small family. Many emotions involved

Completed puasa 6

Alhamdulillah completed puasa 6 syawal this year. Tahun lepas dpt buat 2 hari je. Tummy upset haritu. Tahun ni berjaga2 makanan sikit. Al maklum lah. Lepas puasa semua nak bedal ye. Hehehehe.. so yesterday we went for buka puasa outside with the kids as well. Lauk sooo delicious. Ikan kembung masak merah, paprik ayam, kangkung belacan, telur dadar and sup. Air manis sorang satu. Balik je keletihan and tido terus lepas clean up. :) 

Planning to do the puasa sunat monday thursday after this. Hopefully dpt fulfill this one.

31st march - 1st syawal

Alhamdulillah. After a month fasting, now dah sampai time to berhari raya. First day with big family both sides shah alam & klang. Lepas tu beraya ke rumah aunties both sides. Sampai rumah balik dah almost 11pm. Start packing to balik kampung second day, 3 days stay kampung. Basically rumah nenek husband je lah. Pastu jalan2 round bandar cari kedai makan local. Kejap je time kat kampung. Time to go back to town.

Towards end of ramadan already

This sentence is always on the use in raya songs. “Pejam celik pejam celik je dah nak habis puasa dah. Nak raya dah” yes betul. Like literally today is the last day to sahur. Kat arab already pfficially announce sunday raya. So last note had our last terawih and witir lah. :) tapi kemain mengantuk ye. Tak larat betul. Tapi towards nak moreh ok je. Tak ngantuk sgt. :) yang record video si bongsu ye

Alhamdulilllah preparation raya tu mostly dah setel. Tinggal sikit2 nak kemas hall bawah, mop and vacum, pasang lampu raya, and nak masak kuah kcg and nasi impit. Lain2 basically dah setel. :) this year’s concept guna apa ada je. Ada lah baru tapi mostly like 80% pakai yang sedia ada yang masih elok lagi.

Kuih raya open order from kids

Hahaha.. finally pagi ni ada kekuatan utk start mixing tepung and stuff to bake kuih raya. This one is the house fav one. Choc chips cookies. Siap dah bancuh now duduk diam diam kejap dlm fridge sbb husband ajak teman him and mil ke pasar kejap. Ok btw, nak bake tu mlm pun boleh. Lepas ni kuih dahlia. Pastu tak tau kuih nestum or butter cookies biasa je kot.

Nasi lemak for berbuka

Since husband made a lot of sambal bawang, so i decided to make nasi lemak for berbuka puasa. Since timun pun ada half lagi utk habiskan. Telur pun ada bit this time no telur rebus. Semua nak telur mata. So easier lah for me. Goreng sikit ikan bilis and panaskan sambal daddy. Made extra cup of rice sbb rasanya kalo flavored rice tak cukup. :) alhamdulillah licin menjelang sahur. :) this time nasi dia i made a different sket whereby i tumis bumbu and beras tu sekali. :) tadaa!!
